Bishopsgate chose Mandata’s MP3 software to act as the platform to handle its data management. Mandata’s traffic management software runs on a Sybase database platform for speed, reliability and scalability and programs are written in Delphi with extensive use of SQL. Mandata employs 70 technical personnel (sales, software development, engineering/technical and after-sales support) based in 2 UK locations and in Holland. Mandata has been fully accredited with ISO9001:2000 together with the TickIT extension for the software industry since 1994.

Bishopsgate has linked its satellite depots to the central server as part of its ongoing software development and integration programme. The satellite depots know what’s happening in real time so they can now plan their delivery routes more efficiently. We can now provide much quicker POD information for clients. We can provide a history for each consignment so all staff know what’s happening at all times. And we have recently added a web link to our warehouse management system.  Goods can be accepted into stock in Glasgow and the client will have 'online' access & visibility immediately.
